The Koran and Islam

What does the famous, and sacred religious text the Koran project and what sort of light does it shine on the religion of Islam? The Koran is a collection of the prophet Muhammad’s speeches which have been edited hundreds of times by future generations of heavily religious followers of Islam. Despite this, the significant message never cracked or withered under heavy literary changes, the message and all its aspects are stated on Fordham Universities’ source book page, starting with, “absolute monotheism, the evil of sin, the revelation of God in the Qur’an and through Muhammad, and the creation of a new Muslim community.” These facts are backed up by surahs 1 and 47, which go into more depth on each of these aspects of Islam’s foundation. In the end, despite the Koran’s deep internal messages which require one to re-read multiple times for a clear understanding of its lessons in the Islamic religion, it is possible to grasp the big picture of this impactful worldwide religion.
